student led Confrences

Kia ora bloggers! Today I am going to talk about Student led Conferences. In student led conferences we talked with our parents. We told them to have a look at our goals. We told them our reading,maths,writing, and key competences goals. We talked with them and when we were finished we showed  them some of the things that we have be working on in the class.

letter Blitz

Kia ora! Today I will talk about Litter Blitz. We picked up rubbish around our school. We found a lot of rubbish on pathways and roads. Our school found 200 kg of rubbish around the school.  My team found a lot of the rubbish in front of the Waikowhai shop. I was surprised how long the walk was. I was surprised about how much rubbish there was on our streets. I liked that we cleaned up all of the rubbish.  I liked how tidy the streets around our school is tidy now. I didn't like how much rubbish there was. I didn’t like how heavy the bags were. I would change the amount of golden tickets there were and I would keep it in easier places. I would change the amount of rubbish we collected. It made me think about how much longer we would have to walk. It made me think about what would happen if we didn’t pick up rubbish. I didn’t understand why people litter. I didn’t understand why we had to walk so much.
